New nvidia driver causing hdcp error

Hello,

So I updated my video driver to Forceware 169.21. I have a Geforce 8800GTTS 320MB.
Now when I play movies in Power DVD, I get this error message:

Fail to enable HDCP. Please switch to analog output (VGA, D-Sub) and try again.
- (Error Code = 0107)

Please run the BD/HD Advisor Tool for more information.

I was using a very old version of Forceware before this, and this error never came up.

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 2.0.0.14

Hai

This is just a guess! It looks to me like it's trying to play HD (High Definition). Is that what you are doing? If not check the PowerDVD option and/or try playing the DVDs with Windows Media Player.

If all else fails and you don't need the new driver for any special reason, go back to the old driver.

Newer is not always better. I don't update drivers unless I have a very good reason.
