TS-T532A ROM not reading

Hello,

I have a ACER Aspire 1520 and i have installed Black XP on it. The problem is now the CD/DVD Rom will only read music cd's and the sound is echoing. it will not read any other cd's/dvd's. i have tryed to reinstall the drivers but it is not working. what could the problem be and how can i fix it. please help!!!

Hi,

try to update the driver of the CD drive.

this should fix the problem.

go to the control panel > sounds and audio devices to check the settings. Disable the 3D sound.
