Hi !

Is there any button on your pendrive with a lock drew on it ? If so, just slide it to unlocked position ;-)

I was also facing such kind of issue i tried to follow the below steps and it worked for me hope it will work for you also:-
Click on Start.
Type diskmgmt.msc in Run.
In the disk management window, select the pen drive, right click on it and click on Format.
Now choose the File System and Allocation Unit Size.
Click on OK.

Scan your pen drive with updated antivrus. It could be a trojan horse causing the problem. I was about to format my 8GB Transend Jet Flash but could not remove the files before formatting. Got this tip on another forum. When Trojan was removed the write protection disappeared. There was no loss of data as when you format.
