Remove write protection from my 4GB pen drive

Hello,
my 4GB Pen Drive ,(Transcend, JFV 10,D33193) is Showing write protected. plz help, how to remove it to make in use.

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

Hi !

Is there any button on your pendrive with a lock drew on it ? If so, just slide it to unlocked position ;-)

I HAVE WRITE PROTECTION ERROR ON MY 4GB MICROMAX USB SO HOW CAN I REMOVE IT AND FORMET IT?

I was also facing such kind of issue i tried to follow the below steps and it worked for me hope it will work for you also:-
Click on Start.
Type diskmgmt.msc in Run.
In the disk management window, select the pen drive, right click on it and click on Format.
Now choose the File System and Allocation Unit Size.
Click on OK.

Ya...i followed ur steps and repaired my pen drive...
i was using many of the posted solutions and only urs was useful!!
