Annoyed and confused

Hello,i have 2 computers set up in ym bedroom and the main one has wireless which i am using.. i have put an ethernet cable into the second one which i have bin told the second one will get acces to inter through using the main comp as a wireless aswel how does this work and how do i get the internet to work
