Ipod Touch- isn't being recognized in itunes.

Hello,

I just bought a brand new 16 GB Ipod Touch. I already have Itunes on my computer, because my brother has a nano. But, as soon as I plug in my Touch, it pops up with the box asking what i'd like to do with my "Ipod Touch Camera" and gives me only options for pictures. How can i get Itunes to recognize my Touch as an Ipod so i can download songs?
