Hey guys!!

sorry if this question has been asked before but i have connected my new LG LCD to the pc so i can see the pc on the tv but there is no sound.. i can see in control panel>sound

ATI HDMI Output ... Not Plugged in..

what cable(s) do i need and where and how do i connect them??

Hello,
You will have to activate the sound settings to be played on your tv, to know more please check this tutorial:

Yes thats fine i get that but the problem is that it says not plugged in.. i can see the images on my pc but the sound still comes from my headset speakers.. i cannot click set as default =/

I rang the tv company and thaey said that it was because the sounds card was out of date so they recommended i change the sound card or jus use the 5.1 pc speakers.. problem is the 5.1 drivers were not compatible with vista so i just upgraded the driver from creative website.. took a while but it works ace!!! thanks for the people who tried to help and i hope this helps otthers in the same or similar situation to me!! :)
