Hard disk not detating

Hello,
My PC is working automatically my sysytem is not working .. and i went to BIOS the hard disk is not showing ... and one hard ware came with some cd and he just did with in 10 min to the sysytem the system is working fine and no file is lost .what is that cd pls tell me and send me the link of that cd with key What should I do? Please help me...........

Dear Sir,

If the bios cannot detect your hard drive just check the IDE cable! Or you can replace it maybe it's damaged!!

Try to do this! Your computer will detect your hard drive again!
