Windowos vista not getting boot

Hello,
i am not getting boot with windows vista home os . Frome the laptop toshiba satellite A300. But I want that same window how can i recover my operating system frome recovery pls help me

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 8.0

Hello there,

You will have to access safe mode! Press F8 when your laptop is starting up then select safe mode!
Once you are on safe mode just open system restore, choose a date when your pc was running fine and then press Next

Let the process to be done and restart your machine when it completes!!
