Download and install Skype:http://en.kioskea.net/telecharger/telecharger 82 skype
Buy a nice HeadSet
Make sure that you have a good internet connection.(mininmun 256-512 Kbps , for a good voice communication)
It should be OK, you get your free unlimited calls to all Skype users around the world.

Free calling from PC? You did not say from where to where? It is usually free within US. If you wan to call other countries you can use your pc over VOIP and make free calls. You can do a google and you will find millions of results :)
