Good evening.
I have Acer Aspire one which I use in my office. I was working the system untill when I noticed that all the programs running wasn't responding to commands. I turned off the system unit and later put it on to know whether it could not work better,but that was the beginning of my stress. The system started booting normally and when it got the point where windows normally vert the system files, it stops and brought out a blue screen "<windows roots>/system32/hal.dil. pls,reinstall the above file. Windows could not start because the above file is missing or corrupt." Later on ,I try to format the system with an external dvd Rom. But i got another message " windows could not start because of a computer disk hardware configuration problem, could not read from the selected boot disk. Check boot path and disk hard disk,Pls,check the windows documentation about hardware disk configuration and your hardware reference manual for additional information".
Please ITGURU,advice me on how to get my system working back normally.
