Connect a laptop to another laptop to share i

Hello,

I have been trying to connect two laptops to a single wifi modem. Could someone help me with it. When I connect a single laptop to the modem it connects. But when connected with this computer to the internet, the other laptop cant connect to the internet. How can I use two laptops connect to the same wifi modem and use it simultaneously. I

If not possible , I have heard that I can make one laptop as wireless device and make the other laptop to connect on the one having internet connection and use the internet simultaneously.

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 3.0.10

Hi,



If the two laptops is equiped with wifi you just have to turn on your device and search for your accesible wireless network.

Otherwise you can also share the connection , if one laptop is already connected with a cross cable you can share the Internet connection ..


Just go to


MY network places ( click on start )


Then on the left tab you will have the following options
add a network placve
view network connections
setup a home or small office network
setup wirelessnetwork
view workgroup computers
show icon for networked upnpdevices


Click on setup a home or small office network


Just follow the wizard and select share internet connection.


You will be able to have internet connection on both Laptop
