Cannot find a network

Hello, everytime I try to get on a wireless network my computer tells me "windows cannot find any network" stumped?

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 3.0.11

Hi,


It sometimes happen when you wireless device is not activated.


First of all make sure that you wireless device is correctly installed ,on acer laptops you have a small buttons near a satelite icon to switch on your wifi.


you can always activate it manully using control panel.


Go to control panel and select the wireless netword wizard.


Once done go to your network places ,

tap : view network connections. and enable your wifi :)

Hi, thanks for your advice, i have an inspiron 1525 which has a mireless switch on the side that is doing nothing and when i went to control panel couldn't see any wireless wizard. still stumped:(
