DVD drive failure

Hello,
I need help iam using pre-instaled vista os but when i insert in an empty CD/DVD to write data on it it says windows cannot access the disc. The disc might be corrupt. Make sure that the disc uses a format that windows recognizes. if the disc is un formated u need to format it be4 using it

Hi Dckson,


There may only be two reasons why your computer cannot read information from a disc


1 : Perhaps the cd is damage or your disc drive needs to be clean .



I would advice you to try the same cd on another pc and look forward ..

also perhaps sometime its depends on the speed that the cd has been written :)
