Win Live Mess doesnot show my contacts list

Hello,
After installing Windows Live Messenger on my newlly formatted drive and sign as usual, it shows my picture but it does not show my contact list. I tried to import it from my other pc with the same version of XP and same Win Live Messener, but although the import is done without problem, the contact list still does not show. Any suggestions about this is wellcome. Thanks.

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

Guys I have the same problem with livemessenger and I have found this solution but I cant find where to do it in the reg editor, did anyone try this solution could explain it better? any additional help also appreciated!

Solution:

1) Exit MSN Live completely (this means right clicking the Messenger tray icon and choosing Exit).

2) Open your registry editor (Start > Run > regedit.exe) and navigate to:for Messenger 8.0: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\MSNMessengerfor Messenger 8.1: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\WindowsLive\CommunicationsClient

3) Once there, you must remove the following subkeys:for Messenger 8.0: Policiesfor Messenger 8.1: Shared4. Close your registry editor and restart Messenger.

If you think you cannot make it, just run ("save as"):
