Windows XP Home Edition installation CD

Hello,
I AM TRYING TO FIND OUT WHAT EXACTLY YOUR ARE TALKING ABOUT WHEN YOU SAY THAT I CAN FIND THE PRODUCT KEY IN THE OUTSIDE BODY OF MY COMPUTER.
WHERE IS THAT LOCATED?
I HAVE THE FILE I386 ON MY COMPUTER BUT I DO NOT HAVE THE PRODUCT KEY FOR IT ANYMORE.

I HOPE THAT YOU CAN HELP ME WITH THIS PROBLEM.

Hi,

normally the product key is found on a sticker at the back or the bottom of your computer.

if you do not have it, you will need to buy it from Microsoft.

HI THERE,
I DID FIND THE FILE I386, AND WENT INTO IT, BUT WHEN I DID I FOUND A FILE NAMED WINNT32, BUT IT DID NOT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT WINNT32.EXE.
I ALSO FOUND MY PRODUCT KEY ON THE BACK OF MY COMPUTER AND PUT IT IN AND IT ACTED LIKE IT WAS GOING START, BUT IT STOPPED SAYING AN ERROR 1722 THERE IS A PROBLEM W/THE WINDOWS INSTALLER PACKAGE. A PROGRAM RUN AS PART OF THE SETUP DID NOT FINISH AS EXPECTED. CONTACT YOUR SUPPORT PERSONNEL OR PACKAGE VENDOR.
WHAT DO I DO?
PLEAS HELP!!
