Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0
Hai
"...It will not start in safe mode"...? ... have you tried tapping F8 key @ boot-up? ... safe mode or "last good configuration"?? ... there should be a factory restore in the progams list on the T1090 ... if you can'nt access s/mode or last good * ... try safe mode command prompt then type: RSTRUI.EXE [press ENTER] ... this should bring up the xp system restore, from there select a nice early date when the pc was OK. ... then look for the factory restore listed it wo'nt be called that though, maybe * restore *=wild (anything) |
The T1090 DOES have a point restore option (in windows tools) and DOES come with a system restore CD (I bought this machine new). The system restore is your best first option. The system restore CD's (which reformats computer to factory new condition) is the second best option. I had to use my CD's (three of them) finally when the other methods (cleaning, rebooting) didn't work any longer.
