Hello,
My computer keeps beeping when I turned it on. I tried cleaning it's dust off but it still beeps. Sometimes it starts up without beeping but in a couple of minutes it will freeze and i have to reboot it. Then when i turn it back on it beeps or it turns itself back on and in a couple of minutes it freezes and it keeps going on and on. It's not the mouse or the keyboard, I have a security program so there isn't a virus. What could it be then? Is it something with my RAM, Motherboard or Hardrive?
How can I check the temperatures? with a thermometer :D ?? Should I buy a fan ??? Please Help

Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

Hi,

this seems to a hard disk problem. Remove it and plug it back, make sure that the IDE/SATA cable and the power cable are correctly plugged.

make sure that the RAM is correctly inserted.

I have the same problem the day after I unpacked APC UPS ES 750.
After repeated tries, it woks.
When it does function correctly, it clicks when it turns on; this may be the sound of a relay.
If it is a malfunctioning relay, try kicking it..
