No sound after reinstalling Windows XP

Hello,
Same problem as many above. System crashed and was able to reinstall Windows but since then
no sound is available. Please see below information and if possible direct me to correct website
to find my sound driver. Thanks So much.

Hello you will have to install your sound driver! You will need to search from your motherboard model number on the net!! OR you can send it to me and it will be more easy for me to find it!
The motherboard model is marked on the motherboard!

OH no...motherboard...i am as about as computer literate as a dog would be. Did all the numbers I supplied above help at all in determining the information you needed? If not, please how do I find out the information needed to install the sound drive. Ugh.
