My windows xp wont read blank DVD+rw

Hello,

My Windows Xp Home Edition Will Not Read Blank Dvd+rw. It will read CD+rw but not dvds. My Disc Drive Is a Sony CD-R CRX32OEE please help

Hi,

this is because the drive is not compatible with DVD.

it is not a DVD reader/writer.
