Hello,
On my laptop, none of my web browsers are able to actually display any page on the internet. i will say the page is loaded, but the web browser window will be totally blank. One that particular computer, i tried firefox, googlechrome, and internet explorer. For explorer it showed a message saying it couldn't find any of the pages i tried to open, i think it said that there was an HTML error. What should I do?

Laptop Configuration:
Dell insperon notebook w/
Windows XP

Web browsers:
Google Chrome
Modzilla Firefox
Internet explorer

Hi,

check your internet connection settings.

go to control panel > network connections and try to create another connection.

if you are already connected to a network, try to renew the ip address.

>start
>run
type cmd and click ok
then type ipconfig /renew to renew the ip address.

Hiya there,

I have the same problem since yesterday as inchoate described. I'm mostly using Opera 9 and IE7. The tip given by afgun does not work in my case. Srtangely, this week, one of my friends has got the same problem, but none of us are able to detect the cause and find a solution for this problem.

Same problem here. Firefox, IE, and Safari. Reboot seems to fix the problem, but it has happened three times over the last two weeks and twice on my wife's computer. It seems to be easy to fix, but does anyone know why it is happening?

Wow, weird... i've been experiencing the same issue for the past four days. after several hours of
use on the browser (firefox/ie) the screen goes blank as soon as i hit a link or address. nothing seems
to work in addressing this, except to reboot the pc. i've tried cache flushing via command prompts
and even turned the firewall/antivirus off, all to no avail... i've used malware detector and bit defender
and have found nothing... anyone with insight, please let us know what may be happening.

Yeah I've tried: renew my IP address, restarting my router, clearing cache, resetlog, clear cookies, none of it seems to work. I have to keep restarting my computer to get internet again.

I think it's caused by something related with bandwidth and the ports of the computer. Okay I'm not sure about the ports part, but the bandwidth may be the problem.

Googled the subject so many times, and none of it helps.....

I'm having the same problem I believe, but my problem only lies in certain websites that load a blank screen for me. And before you ask I've tried accessing those same pages on several other PCs and they've worked completely fine. I've had this problem with these 2 websites for weeks now, every other website works fine.

Now on to finding a solution, I'm only using Firefox and what I've done is cleared history, cleared cookies, done ipconfig /flushdns and /renew, so far, but none of those actions seem to have any effect and I still can't load those pages.

Me too. The only pages that load up are my email pages. everything else loads but the pages are blank. I tried it on MOzilla, IE and Google Chrome. When I reboot, it works for awhile, but then the browswer go blank again. do you think it might be hijacked?
