How do I replace a Windows Product key?

Hello, I have recently bought a copy of Windows Xp Professional SP3 but I accidentally threw away the product key. Now I need to install it on my computer but I can't. How can I a new product key? I read a few forums that told how to find the product key on your current system but I'm running Windows Xp Home, not Professional. Please help!

you will have to buy the product key from Microsoft again.

or contact the shop from where you bought Windows license to see if they can help you.
