Lost data in my hard disk

Hello,
my external hard disk has accidentally fallen down when i was using it.it has an external power supply.i have lost the files in the folder which was open at that time.how can i get them back?please help me

Firefox 3.0.11

Hi,

since it fell down, the files might have been canceled or corrupted.

there exists many softwares which says to recover lost data, try this link to download one of them:
