Ram incorrect display value

Hello,
I have upgraded my DDR2 ram from 512mb to 2gb(combination of two 1gb ram, kingston, KVR667D2N5/1G,PC2-5300 CL5). But after the installation, it shows only 1gb of memory. I am currently on Window XP SP2. What could be the problem?

Also after running window for about 10 mins, it will auto reboot. When I am running 512MB PC2-5300 CL5,Patriot, it has no issue. What could be the problem?

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 8.0

Hello, if the 2 DDR Memory modules are of different frequency your pc will not detect one of them! Just make sure to install the 2 Modules of the same frequency!
