My computer will not load taskbar/icons

Hello, for the past two weeks i have not been able to really do anything... but i can go do control+alt+delete, so i can run most programs but i dont have toolbar/icons. i have already tried starting a new task as explorer.exe but it says error, windows can't find program blah blah blah... HOW DO I FIX THIS?!?!???!??!????

Hi,

try to boot in safe mode and run an antivirus to clean your computer.

then restart your system.

Hello i'm wondering if you got ur computer prob. solved! I am having a similiar prob. with my old laptop! it loads to the sony vaio main screen but doesn't show the toolbar or ANY ICONS the ctrl. alt. delete does NOTHING! I even tried to start up the computer to the last known good configuration and NOTHING... if you found something that worked I'd appreciate some help thanks!
