Hi im having a proper bad time with my computer and xbox 360 right at this moment and would some help/advice.

I have a windows xp computer in my room with a wireless usb adaptor running internet from wireless router downstairs and i can connect to the internet on my computer fine but i cannot connect my computer to my xbox 360 via ethernet cable.

I cant make/create the connection to link both the xbox 360 and the computer together via ethernet therefore cannot bridge the connections to get internet onto my xbox 360.

A detailed step by step guide would be very much appreciated and you can contact me on kryton_9@msn.com which is my email address for problems such as this.

Looking forward to the replies :)

Thanks

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 8.0

You need to make sure you are using a crossover Ethernet cable in order for this to work. I was having the same problem until i used the proper cable. The only problem i have run into is that i can connect to xbox live but can not see any of the marketplace pages but can see friends online and communicate with them. I have posted trying to find what i need to do in order to access the Marketplace.
