Not able to open C Drive normally

Hello,

I'm not able to open the C drive normally. If I click the drive it open a open with dialogue page. If I use explore also I get the same thing. I can open it only with entering the C: in RUN or in the address bar. While scanning for virus I found out the checksum for explorer is changed. Now how do I fix the explorer?

I'm using XP Professional SP2.

Please suggest a solution.

Configuration: Mac OS X
Safari 525.20

I think you must download or install a new version of explorer.. maybe the one you have is a corrupted one.

Hey there,
Seems like you helped a lot of people there. My problem is I can't even get to my desk top or Internet so I can't download anything. I get a black screen and a message that says Windows failed to open successfully. I've tried safe mode and every other option. Any suggestions?

When I double click on any drive, it opens with a window " open with ". But I can open with " explore ". How can I trouble shoot ? What is the cause and how can I prevent it in future?

Wow.....great man,,,,,,,,,it worked for me........But as per my knowledge it is a virus problem (RECYCLER folder is a virus born folder and it effects the drives to behave like that,,,,, but this tool doesn't delete the virus ,,,,,,,,BUT IT WORKS GREAT......


If not then what is the concept behind this flash....can anyone know how it works........

WE SHOULD KNOW HOW IT WORKS.....
