Cant sync video on to ITUNES

Hello,
when I go onto itunes, i go to sync file into itunes under file. then i try to get videos onto itunes, but the syncing bar and title doesnt appear at the top! this is really fustrating. And a few days a go, i had this file called limewire, which had my limewire stuff in it, every time i get a new download in itunes, and i checked today, and its gone!! Please help me and tell me how to get videos onto my itunes library.
