Hello,
My laptop stopped working. I checked with Dell and was told the motherboard is damaged. I bought and replaced the mother board. Now when I try to start it the fan starts spinning, the DVD drive light flashes and I hear the hard disk starts spinning, but it powers off about 3 seconds after. Any idea what could cause this problem?

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0
