Acer Aspire 5515

Hello, my Acer Aspire 5515 powered off two nights ago and will not power back on. The battery light comes on when I plug the charger up but the laptop does not make any noise or no other lights will come on. Can someone please help me?

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

Pop your battery out and then try to boot it.

I had this problem exactly once, and solved it by simply unplugging the power cable and booting on battery power. Since then I haven't had an issue booting either plugged or unplugged. Not sure exactly what was going on.

It's crazy but it does work. Unplug the power supply and try to reboot again.
