Sound Drivers

Hello,
Due to some Viruses problem I had formated my machine and re-installed windows XP, but it was found that there were no sound drivers in the CD and now i want to install it but don't know from where i can downlaod the appropriate sound drivers.

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 6.0

Mmmm...

hi, there is a web site from which i used to download my drivers but you must have an id and pwd.. i think it has shut down now so i will try to find another one to help you out! Else i think you would have to buy the installation cd...

Search for the exact driver by going to the manufactuers website and entering your service tag id. you will then have a list of close to everything you need in way of drivers.

I recently formatted my pc and now i having a speaker but i dont have sound

I probably am able to give u a link to download the driver u need to re-install ur sound card.

But only if u tell the brand and the model of ur computer. (For Dell, Fujitsu, Packard Bell, S/N instead of the model).
If ur computer is a no-brand one tell the brand and the model of ur MoBo.

Dear Ameet,
Go in google, type free downloding software for p4 win xp, than enter , google will search for the all drivers, than select your sound driver brand and for win xp, again google will search for the same , for this operation you need to a email address, if already have than no problem otherwise open an acount in yahoo/rediffmail or any other which you prefer, after it all download your sound driver, ant install on your pc it will work properly.
