Windows media player dvd decoder not found

Hello,
I am trying to play a video in Windows Media Player 9 about a dvd decoder not compatible or something like that. i have tried install wmp 11 to see if that fixed it, i thought it was just an outdated version. No Luck!! GO FIGURE! Can some one please guide me throught the process of what to doo, or where to go to fix it? thanks. I am using windows xp if that helps any. Also I type www.facebook.com and it gives me error 404 not found yet I can go to myspace without problems. How can I access facebook? I'm a facebook farmtown addict and my grapes are all gonna die if I can't log into facebook. PLZ HELP ME!!! LOL
