You dont need any fancy software all you need to do is find (or download) music that is in the w4a or aac format (ends in .aac or .w4a). itunes uses w4a so if you drag the music from your itunes folders to your sdhc card (high capacity secure digital card) and place the sdhc in your dsi it should read it.
Note: some stores market it as a mini sd card as it is less technical sounding

First you will need a sd card.
Then put it in your PC and go onto Itunes if you have not got Itunes i will not work.
Then pic a song left click it and go to ACC and after it loads drag it down to the pic of the sd card.
And there you go you have a song on your DSI its that easy it actually only takes seconds and im 10
and i can do it.

Actually all of the above are incorrect actually and you have to trust me on this.
so what you do is put your SD card into your computer then you go on itunes click ONCE!!!!!! THE CLICK ADVANCED (TOP LEFT of the page near file and edit .....) create AAC version and when thats done right click copy then click start then click on computer then click on sdsd (;F (secure digital storage device) then paste then right click on your song go down to send to click on sdsd(:F then ur done p.s i do know what im doing baecause i found this out myself if you have any problems e-mail me at alexcadden@live.co.uk

thankyou

The best place to look for an SD card is usually a camara shop, if you get one from a camera shop not only will it let u play music but with a 1GB Sd card (wot ive got) it will let u take 3000 photos!!! Good luck!

Ok well, i tryed an empty sd card, and put itunes music in there but it didnt work.but if you go to walmart and go to the music , you will find music already put on an sd card, like a soundtrack of ONE artist,it should work.Hope this helps.
