Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0
1st of all, if you just bought Norton I would suggest, take it back for a refund as there are free AV's that are just as good if not better and are not bloatware.
Now, I would go into safe mode with networking and go to the avast link I suggested, when it comes up click on run this program (not save) and then put a check that it will do a bootscan on reboot. On the bootscan, move everything to the chest that it finds and see if that helps |
Yeaa u should remove norton dude.. Disable all firewall installed.. Make out ur backup wizard then i would suggest u to reformat ur pc ..Then, when u have already build up ur new windows, u need to create a system restore point in case of disfunctions of ur PC in the future.. ;O) use Avast, AVG or another good one like NOD32.. very user friendly with high antivirus performances with auto updates etc.. I hope its a good tips 4ur trouble.. |
my computer is booting up and shows the microsoft corporation as it boots then as it goes to the main screen it stops blinking and the main screen won't show its all black how do i get it to boot completely. |
Yeh get a refund for norton its the slowest antvirus out there i recommend using CA its 3rd best and very good.. |
