Wifi issue compaq v3000 notebook

Hello,
My WiFi on my compaq v3000 is no longer detected... I think the device has been damaged as this occured shortly after I dropped the computure... but everything else works just fine... i no longer get a blue light on the Wifgi switch only red..

can someone tell me if I can replac ethie myself ...as the notebook is not in waranty any longer..

Just check your wifi settings on bios! Just put it on! If the problem persists you will have to get it repaired!
