Webcam not working

Hello,

I have a Sony Vaio Notebook VGN-CR510E with a built-in camera. My webcam used to work just fine, but now when i try to use it, it doesnt connect. It says it doesnt connect and the computer cannot find it when using Skype. I tried downloading the driver from the sony vaio website, but when i downloaded it, it said after the installation that it wasnt installed correctly. When I chose the option to install it with recommended settings it said that the driver works for Windows Vista only. And I have Windows Vista. I tried installing the driver in Safe Mode, but it didnt work. When I tried to fix it under Device Manager, it turned out that I dont have any Camera Drivers there. I tried using the Uninstall/Install Programs and Drivers under Recovery Center, but it didnt help. The other night windows updated the driver itself and it worked for 2 minutes and I cannot find anything that says when it was installed or what was wrong.

What should I do?

I did it already. After installing i get a notification that says that it wasn't installed correctly. And when i choose install with recommended setting then it says that it works only for windows vista.

The link which was submitted is the correct for windows vista! Please uninstall your current driver and download again then install!

When I open Device Manager then I cannot find Camera driver. How can I uninstall it?

Hi,

No, I am sorry. I guess it is just broken :( I tried with a portable webcam, didnt have to install anything, worked with Arcsoft.
