GTA 4 pc performance

I have a 256mb Nvidia GeForce 6200 I have a p4 2.6ghz and 1gb of ram my gta 4 game does not work well. I do have all of the minimum requirements and it is very jittery and looks like crap. WHAT DO I DO?

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 3.0.11

The minimum specs for gta4 state that a dual core processor is required

Turn down your shadow Density in the options
My pc which used to have lower specs than that played it perfectly when shadow density was turned down to 0

My current specs r
2.0ghz Amd Sempron
2.5 Gb Ram
1 gb Nvidia 8600gt graphics card

The minimum specs required for the game are a lie....dpepnding on your system setup it may require more or less

Hi

your pc configuration is much lower. i have faster computer and better graphics than yours but also i couldn't run GTA smoothly. So, you need at least 2gb of ram, core 2 duo processor(for best result) and above all better graphics because the series of yours is way older compared to the tech spec game use. So better upgrade your ram and buy latest graphic card( nVIDIA 9800 or above) with at least 512 of ram.
