Hi,

to add songs to iTunes you just have to play the songs using iTunes.

you cannot add songs to the iPod because it might be that it is already full.

Does it make sense if i think you wanna add your sister's songs to your iPod via her iTunes library without needing to delete your original songs on your iPod? When it comes to this issue i guess you need to use a third-party program on which i would recommend Aniosoft ibackup(http://www.ipodtocomputer.org/). It enables you to transfer iPod's music and other content to any storage device and iTunes as well. And both the backup in the storage device can be recovered and restored with no any change and no any risk. And the data in the iTunes is quite in accord with the iPod's data including its playlists, rating and etc.
So in your case, you simply need follow steps like:
1,Install and run Aniosoft ibackup , open iTunes on your sister's computer and plug your iPod
2,Transfer music and other content from your iPod to the iTunes on this computer with Aniosoft ibackup
3,Sync your iPod to the iTunes on your sister's computer where both your sister's songs and your own iPod's transferred songs are included already
Now a finally completion of transferring different iTunes library to your iPod without deleting your own songs .

Hi!

For wat you trying to do you need to enable the other persons library into your ipod since your device will only read one computer by default. Honestly.... i think it is too much trouble for u to do this! specially if you are not familiar with log files and a bit of terminal use! my suggestion! get an external hard drive! and copy the songs that you like from your sisters or anybody's itunes library (either mac or windows) and then copy those files into your library! keep in mind that you can't export songs directly from an ipod unless you use an app that allows you to rip the contents of your device! a good alternative for the external hard drive will be to use your own ipod in disk mode! if you still have a good amount of space that is! you can enable that on the itunes window! i use it with my ipod classic! never tried with other models! but i do know the option is not available for iphone! (not sure about ipod touch). Anyway! just drag and drop your filesinto your ipod and then transfer them to your computer! Hope this helps! good luck!
