Hello,
First wanted to thank whoever responds to this thread in advance..

Basically I dropped my laptop and the screen has cracked and is unviewable.. I decided I would try and connect it to my TV thru VGA cable .. When the computer first boots up you see the windows screen on the TV then it goes blank and the picture appears on my laptops broken screen .. It seems the only way I am able to view picture consistently on the TV is by booting up the computer in safe mode .. so obviously there is no connection problem ... PLEASE HELP!!!

Configuration: Windows XP
Safari 525.19

Have you tried to use Fn + F7 to activate the external monitor?
