Adobe Flash for 64 bit Windows Vista

Hello,
I have a 64 bit edition of windows explorer and now I can download Adobe Flash player. I was running on 32 bit and one day I couldn't get my explorer to open at all and it had switched to 64 bit and now I can get my 32 bit back! Someone one help me please!!!!!!

Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 8.0
