Laptop screen goes blank..

Hello,
my acer 4520 screen suddenly turned blank for dis past 3 days.. when i connect to the monitor, the system still running but it can't be displayed on my laptop screen. any solutions other than send it to the computer service??

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 3.0.11

Hi,

unplug any attached peripherals such as pendrive or enternel HDD.

try to get in the BIOS by pressing Del button when starting the computer.

if yo are able, check the sttings.

or it may be an internal problem where you will need to take it to a computer technician.

my laptop is about 8 months old and my screen goes blank like white i cant see anything it happenes like most of the time when i use it my laptop dv5-1015ea and i do not know why this happenes??

any suggestions or help??

My hp laptop dv6846 was working well till yesterday night. i shut it down after use. Next day when i tried to switch it own, only power LED glowed. The screen was totally blank and other LED are not glowing,the laptop is not starting up.
