My laptop screen keeps flickering... help!

Hello,
i bought a new dv4 - 1225dx in january and since may, the screen turns to flicker anytime it's booting. now it seems to be getting really bad and i don't know what to do. i'd like to know if anybody's having the same problem and what the solution is to this problem.

Configuration: Windows Vista
Firefox 3.0.11

Hi Guys,
I bought my computer also in january and since march I am having the same problem I guess. My screen starts to turn even black or completely white and the image gone, I have to move the top but this is so wrong, I havent had time to send to warranty because I work with it, and know that I have time I saw reviews that people do send them and received it even worst, so have you ever fix that problem that can help me , please? thanks

If your screen is going completely white or black it is a problem with the signal connector to the screen.

However, completely black could also be an inverter/cable problem.

Flickering while moving is more than likely a connection problem with either a loose connection, dry solder joint or a cable that is being pinched by the fascia etc.
