Normail CPU temp

Hello,

I got an intel processor d3.0, on a mercury pvm 900m motherboard.The cpu temp goes up to 100degrees is this normal? because the machine has multiple crashes, refuses Video drivers and just died yesterday it just boots up shows the xp logo and then a silver screen 4 ever. what is going on?

100F (38C) is fine, 100C is a major problem. Check the heatsink/fan, it may not be installed properly. It could be loose, dust clogged or could be you used too much or too little paste, maybe no paste at all?
