Laptop HDMI connect to TV RCA

Hello,
Im trying to connect my Dell notebook to my Samsung TV. The Dell has a HDMI port but the TV has RCA inputs, the TV is not HD or LCD, but still gives a good enough picture. What i want to do is to eg, show holiday photos, or maybe a DVD from the notebook to the TV. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hye you just have to use the S-video output to connect your laptop to your tv!! This is quite better if you don't have a HD tv

Thanks, but unfortunatly my Laptop doesnt have an s-video output port, its got the new HDMI or obviously USB ports....:-(

Hi Harvey,

I need information, Does the connection cable from HDMI Laptop to RCA TV worked, i do understand there is no sound coming from TV, but can you view the laptop content in tv?

please suggest me from where you bought the cable?
