"Choose Program " While opening Drives

Hello,

First I was getting the above problem. Therefore i decided to reinstall the XP. But the problem still the problem continues. When i double click on any C:, D:, E: drive it is giving message that jm3cx96.bat not found and asking to choose program to open the volume...

Please HELP.....

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 3.0.11

Hye this is a virus problem. just update your antivirus and scan the whole system!

Go to the following web page (mentioned below)

http://www.dougknox.com/xp/file_assoc.htm

On visiting this page choose the Drive Association Fix (Restores default settings for hard drives).

On clicking that you will be asked to download a zip file which you of course do so. Then extract and run the zip file or just open it .

On running it you should find that your 'Double Clicking drive' problem is fixed.
