Mic not working

Hello, My mic is not longer working. I was using it yesterday morning and it was working fine. I can hear sound threw my headset but no one can hear me. Is my headphone jack out? I looked everywhere and cant figure out why it is doing this.

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 3.0.11

Hi,

check if the microphone jack is properly connected to the computer.

check the volume level of the microphone by going to control panel > sounds and audio devices

make sure that the mic is enabled.
