This does not always mean it is a virus, however scanning is always the first option. Sometimes a piece of software will not let go of something due to other issues. You can take a look with Google search for "unlocker" as this will unlock those pesky files. We have used it with great success.

INFO: Ever had such an annoying message given by Windows: Cannot delete file: Access is denied. There has been a sharing violation. The source or destination file may be in use or the file is in use by another program or user. Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use. Unlocker is the solution. Unlocker is an Explorer extension that allows you with a simple right-click of the mouse on a file or folder to get rid of error message such as error deleting file or folder, cannot delete folder: it is used by another person or program.

I only suggest downloading this file from cnet. http://download.cnet.com/Unlocker/3000-2248_4-10493998.html

Please note some AV programs may find this to be malware, via a heuristic engine is able to detect potentially malicious. This is due to the actions of the software. This is why we suggest you download from known safe environments, and of course be careful.

Even better than a range of free antivirus products (which often let things through) is investing a small amount in professional help. they will clean the pc out, remove any unwanted files and set up the computer for the future

the besst in the business - www.fixedlikemagic.com
