Error loading operating system

Hello,

my computer (lap-top) dose not start.Immediately upon hitting the power button after loading of Norton Go Back I get a blank (black) screen with the message Error Loading Operating System.
I have tried Norton Go Back to a an earlier time and date to to success.I have tried the Geek Squad at best buy but they were of no assistance.

Anyone there with a solution to my problem??

Sounds like bad hdd or perhaps is has been undocked internally. Open the machine and confirm the drive is securely inserted in its dock in your laptop. Also, confirm the drive actually works: Turns on, no odd noises, etc.
