Hi,

you need to install the driver for the etheret to work and to get iternet connection.

try this link to go to the official website and then download the drivers:

I went to the dell website on my laptop for support and downloading my drivers. i have repeated the process of downloading all drivers and then burning them onto a cd to install on my desktop about 3 times. yet i still run into the same problem.
