Hello,
I have lost Volume Control from the right side of my Task Bar. When I try to add it from the Control Panel, I get a message that the Volume Control program does not exist. Where can I download the Windows XP Volume Control program? Thanks.Configuration: Windows XP

hi,

you need to reinstall the audio driver.

post your computer specs and we will send you a link to download the driver.

or this may be due to a virus, install an antivirus and run it to clean your computer.

Uh, no. I get a message that says "Windows cannot display the volume control on the taskbar because the Volume Control program has not been installed. To install it, use Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel." And I don't see an option to add it back when I go to the Add/Remove Programs in the control panel; even if I select the option to add Windows Components.

I had the volume control a month ago.

Buddy.. hope ur audio driver was corrupted or uninstalled by anyway...
better go to ... www.intel.com and click on Downloads..
Intel site has a option, that automatically checks ur system drivers and install driver if any missing... even it will automatically updated the drivers.
Sure This will resolve ur problem...
