Sims2 double deluxe

HELP!
i have the Sims2 double deluxe! on my computer (hd) it worked! but then some other viras came into our computer from aonther game so we had o reboot it! and now we have vista! i tried to instal it but we i click run this box pops up and it say that it wont turn on would you like to retry?
i click retry and the same box keeps on popping up!!!!!!!
HELP!!!!!

Its windows for one, on top of that its vista. vista sucks they have already replaced it with windows 7. vista is like 3 years old. wondows xp is 7 years old i think.
